We partner with local organizations and individuals, to ensure that all people have access to healthy food, quality health care, safe and affordable housing, stable employment, and livable wages. We agree with Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., that "injustice in health is the most shocking and inhuman form of inequality!"

These efforts have resulted in more than $40 million of funding for reducing health disparities and promoting health equity. Our activities are focused locally in North Carolina, throughout the United States, and across the world - wherever the marginalized are suffering preventable diseases because of their social conditions.
